VBAS Assessors carry out assessment for Building Safety Category and Building Management Category according to the requirements of MBIS and MWIS and the scope and standards of VBAS Assessment Manual. Then, Assessor will prepare assessment reports and certificates as required and submit to the Panel Secretariat.

Buildings certified under the VBAS will be recognized by the Building Authority for having fulfilled the requirements under the MBIS and MWIS (in respect of windows in common parts only) within the respective inspection cycles.
VBAS welcomes all private domestic buildings and composite buildings (domestic and commercial) with building management.
